138creative founder Nathan Tabor completed Fashion Institute of Technology’s Toy Design Program in 2000. Living and working in NYC until 2002, Tabor then relocated to Shenzhen, China, to develop products aimed at the Western market for Hong Kong-based companies. During this time, he designed a number of notable products, including the Titanium Monsters of Rock, which won ToyFare magazine’s recognition as Best Original Concept for 2003. Upon returning to NYC in 2004, Tabor worked as a freelance consultant until relocating to Portland, Oregon, in March of 2005, where he formally established 138creative.
